What is a raised stage, and when do you need one?
A raised stage lifts whoever stands on it above the room: a speech, a live band, a first-look reveal or a head table are all moments worth seeing over a crowd of guests. Unlike a dance floor, which stays flush with the ground because people walk and dance across it, a raised stage sits on an adjustable steel frame built to the height your event needs, with a stair unit or ramp added wherever someone steps up. AAA Events Group has produced 700+ events across Bali and carries six raised stage finishes: white and black melamine, mirror, timber, grass and carpet.

How much does a raised stage cost in Bali?
Raised stages are priced per 1×1 m module, the same system as our dance floors, so a 3×3 m speaking platform is 9 modules. Rp 2,475,000 in white melamine. These are today's rates for every finish we carry:

What do planners build a raised stage for?
Head tables, welcome speeches and the cutting of a cake all read better from a platform a step above the room. Bands and DJs book the black and mirror finishes so the performer stays visible over a standing crowd, and a launch or brand activation books mirror or white for a clean backdrop under lighting. Garden ceremonies on sloped ground use the grass and timber finishes to keep the officiant level with the aisle. If your event calls for guests to stand or dance on the surface itself rather than beside it, our dance floors are built flush with the ground instead from Rp 200,000 per square metre. Which Bali venues book a raised stage?
Any venue running a programme rather than open dancing: villa ceremonies in Uluwatu book the timber and grass finishes for a cliff-edge altar. Beach clubs and villas in Canggu and Seminyak book black and mirror for a DJ platform. Resorts in Nusa Dua and Sanur book white and mirror stages for conferences, launches and award nights. We deliver, build and collect at all of them, the same crew that installs our dance floors and floating stages.

What is a raised stage, and when do I need one instead of a dance floor?
A raised stage is a platform built up off the ground on a frame, rather than laid flush with it like a dance floor. It is the right choice whenever the people on it need to be seen over a standing or seated crowd: a wedding speech, a live band, a product launch, an awards presentation or a head table. A dance floor stays level with the ground because guests walk and dance across it. A raised stage lifts its occupants above the room instead.
How much does a raised stage cost to rent in Bali?
From Rp 200,000 to Rp 550,000 per square metre. A 3 by 3 metre stage, the usual size for a head table or a welcoming speech, is 9 modules. That runs Rp 2,475,000 in white melamine and Rp 4,950,000 in mirror. Delivery, installation and the stairs or ramp needed to reach it are quoted per venue.
How high can a raised stage be built, and does it need stairs?
Our standard platforms sit on an adjustable steel frame, built to the height your run of show needs, with a stair unit or ramp added wherever guests or performers step up. We confirm the height and access with you before the build, especially for a stage carrying a band, speakers or lighting trussing.
Can a raised stage go outdoors in Bali's weather?
Yes. All six finishes are built for outdoor use, levelled on grass, sand or decking before the platform frame goes up. For the wet season we advise a tent or a covered structure over the mirror and melamine finishes, the same guidance we give for our dance floors, since the gloss surfaces are the ones that show rain.
How far in advance should I book a raised stage in Bali?
Earlier is easier, because it gives us time to plan the platform and the access with you. A 50% deposit confirms your date. AAA Events Group has produced 700+ events across Bali, so send us your run of show and we size the platform around it.
